Trying to imitate illustration techniques from the movie 'A Scanner Darkly'. I'm using Illustrator and Flash.

In the movie, they're using a special software called ROTOShop. The software automatically convert the video to stills of vector.
I'm not using any specific techniques. I simply draw the outlines then fill in the color in Flash. I pick the color from the original photo.
By the way, i'm not using any graphic tablet...
